WHAT ARE THE AGE DIVISIONS

The American Spirit Pageant offers eight divisions, ranging in age from 7 & up. Your competition division is determined by your age as of May 1, 2018. The following age divisions apply: Tiny Miss (4-6), Little Miss (7-9), PreTeen (10-12), Jr. Teen (13-15), Teen (16-18), Miss (19-25), Ms. (26-50), Mrs. (30-50), Classic (51 & up). Contestants must never have been married nor have children. This does not apply to Ms., Mrs., or Classic Divisions.

What are the areas of competition?

All delegates will compete in Interview, American Spirit Fashion Wear, and Evening Gown. Each category counts for a third of the contestant’s score. In addition, there are several onstage and offstage optional competitions.

What are the pageant dates?

The American Spirit National Pageant will be held June 20-22nd, at the Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center, 6515 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819. The resort is less than 5 minutes from Universal Studios.

What is the pageant schedule?

The tentative pageant schedule is Thursday afternoon/early evening registration, followed by orientation and the “Diamonds and Dessert” event. Friday will consist of am rehearsals, onstage optional competitions during the afternoon, and the Royal Gala event Friday evening. Interviews will be held Saturday am, followed by afternoon rehearsal/group photo and the 2019 American Spirit Pageant! All delegates will compete onstage in American Spirit Fashion Wear and Evening Gown. The coronation of our new queens will take place immediately following the competitions. Our new royalty will enjoy a photo shoot and lunch on Sunday June 23rd.

 

Do I have to win a state pageant to compete at nationals?

No, If there is not a state pageant in your area you will be able to attend nationals “at large” with either a state or regional title. Once you are accepted as a national delegate, a deposit of $100 is due within 1 week to secure your title. State crowns and sashes are ordered when your sponsorship fee is paid in full.

What is the sponsorship fee?

The sponsorship fee is $795 and includes your $300 Ad page, official state crown, sash, national shirt,
national swag bag, and admission to the Diamonds and Dessert event.

Am I required to sell an ad for the program book?

Your Ad page is covered in your sponsorship fee but you can sell additional ad pages.  The program book is printed in color and is a beautiful keepsake of your weekend here at the National American Spirit pageant! 

When is the entry deadline?

All paperwork and fees are due in our office no later than June 1st, 2019.

 Am I required to sign a contract if I win a National American Spirit Title?

If you win a National American Spirit Title, you will be required to sign a contract agreeing to make a minimum of 3 appearances per month promoting the pageant and our national charity. You will also agree to return to the 2020 National Pageant to crown your successor.
